Take Me Away

…they’re running rings around us, but we don’t care…

Yesterday was utter fantasticness, words to describe it have probably been recorded in the english dictionary, but at this time I am unable to conjour them to mind.

Lunch time involved getting a certain chilli peppers album (omg stadium arcadium) with chrispy, nikko and hetty. Although me and chris's walking velocity greatly exceeded their, leading to a rather nice saunter to the pinapple and back. Physics was as usual and dr green reminded us of how terribly little time we have before the world collapses upon us, and jake described the correct transition of:

O RLY? –> YA RLY –> NO WY!

After school was a fairly pleasant chat in the car park, more poking of nhoj (you know where) a quick goodbye and a dash onto a rather orangy bus. Many comments from small children, glares from older ones, and a couple of winks later we arrived in ashby. Pizzas were fun to make, nikko showed me how to pepper correctly, and peppered (in a different sense) all of the top of mine. Food was eaten in the garden, gardens were wandered, and wandering into the living room for Grey's.

Lifted to notts, people were greeted, much winking and then it was time to go in! More winking, a coke and then the pianoey woman started playing. She had a very nice voice, but she could have done with some kind of backing. WCA rocked completely and utterly, old men shouted things, james *fuck you*'d back at them and a great time was had. I managed to record the gig in a fuzzy and very much enloudened state on my mindisk, and these recordings will prolly be sent to those of you who read this. It was really great to see everyone, Chrispy, Lou, Nikko, and Hetty! Where would I be without you :D . It was really sad nhoj couldn't make it, but there will be other times! *eye twitches*

I think without further ado, I will attempt to sum up the winks I *experienced* during the night:
Nikko: Well practiced, slighty lecherous. Looks like a bemused chimp in the mating season (in a good way – I guess) 7.8/10
Chrispy: Dark and satirical, a cross between a nervous twitch and a grin. 6.5/10
Lou: Described by Hetty as "sassy", this wink is improving with each appearance. 7.5/10
Hetty:
A connoisseur of winks, usual executed with a short smile or twitch of head. 7.5/10
Barman:
*kidding* but let's not go there. Ever.

After being lifted back to hetty's by chrispy's dad (thanks again), we all huddled in her front garden *quietly* waiting for nikko's parents to arrived, twigs were snapped, and strange noises were made. Many winks (see above), and a couple of gropes later nikko's dad arrived. Farewells were said, and it was time to go home.

It is days like these which make me so glad I have you all. Gnighty.

and for today’s lesson…

plagiarism

plagiarism is bad, there are no doubts about that. Exams boards seem to think so atleast, nowerdays we have to sign a sheet that says “I made this” in large letters. Sadly AQA does not seem to realise how much time it takes to spellcheck that 3000 word essay you just copy and pasted off wikipedia (the americans really don’t understand the true color of proper english), and when it comes down to it, what else are computers for if not exploiting and plagiarising the work of others.

In any case on with the blog. All in all a brilliant day. It began when I realised I had fallen asleep while watching 24, and had somehow crawled under the cover while still unconcious. (DAMN YOU CICERO! DAMN YOU VIRGIL! WHY DID I HAVE TO GIVE YOU UP LAST YEAR!) Suprisingly no disaster in the shower when it didn’t make a horrible grinding noise and die mid-shower. It tried the sink and realised I’d already washed my hair in the shower – the hot tap was too hot so I washed my hands in the cold tap. Come to that cold tap was too cold but less risk of injury.

The day got better when I didn’t get my hair cut. My head is being swamped by the large fringe which is now invading from above once more but I can now sway to the music more effectively (good ol musics). The guitaring was pretty good and took up quite a lot of homework time. All this was only possible because there was no band practice today (namely because I’m not in a band nffsggrgg), another good thing. Finally I only got no homework done anyway and have to do the whole lot tomorrow. Another good point of today was England winning the rugby take that Wales!

Anyway, where was I. Yes never plagairise anything, especially other peoples’ blog entries.

I hope this has been an informative and useful lesson. Goodnight
Music of the second: City of Blinding Lights – U2 .
Coffee: None, I hardly drink coffee.
