Just walked to the Vets, he wants some website work done – but as I thought, he wouldn’t be there. He has an apointment at 10:30 but he rang to say his car had “broken down” and he had called a taxi, and would be along in 45mins. I know from the work experience I did there that he was probably still in bed (the receptionist had trouble keeping a straight face while telling the now rather annoyed looking woman and dog)

Walking back through the park, it’s a lovely day today – and saw a woodpecker in one of the trees – random.

The WCA EP is reaally good, loving running rings totally.

Time to do something useful methinks. xx

It’s 10:00, as I sit in my room. It’s just got dark here, and I can see the outlines of the trees in the distance.

Just phoned everyone, sounds like you’re having a great time there, sad to have missed it…

From what I can make out, this is the current state of events:

Nikko & Jake: Splurging (not quite sure what that signifies)
Hetty: Drunk (for the first time)
Chris: Tipsy (high tolerance)
Lou: Hyper, walking into trees and having trouble walking in a straight line (I wish I’d recorded that conversation)
Nhoj: Getting there.

Well, before all that… I did some cycling – which was fun, met a french couple – a few seconds after I’d gone past them I realised I’d just talked to them in french without thinking (how odd). Ate some food, and then learned an irish reel on my mandolin, so I can shock all those cretians when I get there.

With that I think I might get some ouzo or something, talk to you all later!

Sitting on a corner street
Children playing at my feet (oh yes, my freaky freaky feet ;) )
See the smiles on ice cream faces
Feel myself begin to sink
As the wind blows though my skin
Leaves me open to temptation

Cause nothing ever lasts forever…

Music: Piece by Piece – Feeder
Music I Would Prefer: Flowe (live)
Drink: Wheat beer (that popular tonic)

Ok where to start, first of all I think I will start by highlighting the comments I’ve had to my blog lately. I had one from Sam, hello mr smith, amazed to see you found your way here (ty nikko or jake). And no hetty, my list is final.

Today was rather fun, newcell are really improving so much. Sitting by the cathedral was prolly the highlight, nice to just relax for a bit.

I think the realisation that term is over in 2 school days has kicked in. It will be one very long summer, must make sure we do things or it will get very lonely and boring :P

Well, enough for tonight, sleep well all. xx

A list.

Felt pretty bad this morning when I got on the bus, didn’t really want to be at school… But otherwise I would have just been sitting at home doing nothing, so there I was…

Walking into school, the realisation that nothing had changed here was somewhat reassuring, and the smell of school made me smile (who knows why D.D)
Mood improved hugely during the day, I think pianoing at break time had something to do with that, it always helps.

Chemistry was boring, we didn’t do anything. Maths was pretty good, and physics was as usual! Lunch was spent mocking the school’s shameless publicity, and eating martian themed foods. I would describe my food as reformed remains of some sort along with funny mash potatoey things, and it was reasonable pleasant, along with a fried mars bar (get the joke there, the cooking staff are a riot – mars –> war of the worlds) which was not so nice :P

Day ended with going into town to get Morning After Girls cd, venturing into the big blue music place (against nhoj’s wishes) and seeing that it is horribly awful. Bought strawberries in the market, and headed back to school.

Technology was quite fun, messed around with henry’s guitar and then watched the girls making a prop for a school play (I would say that I’d helped, but as this is not true, and assuming Beka has found her way here – there would be complaints about the legitimecy of the statment).

Listening to afor-purchased cd, which is extremely excellent. (alliteration *win*)

Anyways, time to do something constructive and or lounge about.

Live long and prosper, as they say in star trek or suchlike.

Quote of the day: “never understimate a member of the LGS ground staff, as they may be amazing guitarists” – true story

I guess newcell will be starting round nowish, I hope the gig goes well.

Funny how things change I guess.

Started writing a song, but scrapped it since my voice has gone pretty bad since I’ve not been practicing. I went to play the piano, and my cat just sat on the keyboard and started purring as soon as I started playing, I swear they are psychic or something. When cat went I started learning a new piano piece, and that was pretty cool…

My music collection seems to be pitying me tonight, it’s on random… and it’s getting such interesting songs.

Well, time to try and get to sleep I guess… See you all in the morning.

To quote a song I wrote around a month ago
“The one’s we love, the times we had, the memories that make us sad, actions that speak louder than all words.
Just look away, there’s more to life out there.”

Gnight all, xxx

I think my heart skipped a beat.

Oh yes, and the gig was good too.
